During the construction of a new commercial building located on one of the main thoroughfares in the Liège region, the architects had the excellent idea of integrating a giant LED screen in the shop window. The sales team of HTVLED HTVLED was asked to submit a price quote, competing against several local companies. Thanks to the ingenuity and expertise of its teams, HTVLED won this ambitious project. The end result is a 18m² P4.8mm LED screen offering exceptional visual rendering and impressive image quality.
The constraints of the project
The main challenge of the project was to respect the tight deadlines imposed by the client, with the goal of installing the LED screen one month before the official opening of the business. From a technical point of view, the screen had to offer a high resolution and be silent so as not to disturb visitors. The space allocated for the screen installation measured approximately 6100mm x 3200mm, and the screen was to be mounted high up in the shop window.
The HTVLED solution
Choosing the equipment was the first crucial step. The HTVLED technical team opted for a 4.8mm pitch, guaranteeing excellent image quality, with brightness of 4500 nits For optimal display, even in broad daylight. 500x500mm boxes were made of polymer (hard plastic) to reduce the overall weight of the installation. To avoid noise pollution, the fans were replaced with passive radiators, allowing for silent heat dissipation.
A prior site visit The ongoing construction work was carried out by the technical team, in collaboration with the contractors, to anticipate all the logistical and technical requirements necessary for a successful installation. This allowed preparations for the arrival of the electrical connections as well as the cable RJ45 for remote screen management via the internet.
To facilitate installation at height, HTVLED has designed a hanging system on suspension bar, offering a clean and efficient solution. The use of special gondolas and ground protection ensured a safe installation. Furthermore, the screen was moved away from 30 cm from the window to prevent overheating due to sunlight reflection. To ensure a neat aesthetic, the back of the screen has been covered with a custom printed tarpaulin, blending perfectly into the environment.
Content management and end result
Before installation, our graphic design department worked closely with the client to create personalized content, perfectly suited to the LED screen. The player It was pre-configured with the images and videos to be displayed. During installation, it was simply a matter of connecting the player for the screen to immediately display the promotional content, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
The end result is spectacular: a 18m² LED screen Of exceptional quality, it immediately captures the attention of passersby and customers. The visibility and impact of this screen on the target audience are impressive, adding real value to the business.
